Geological Services for Ma’aden Exploration and Mining Operations
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Project Scope
- Supervising drilling contractors and ensuring safety and compliance.
- Coordinating with Ma’aden teams on geological programs.
- Managing drilling data, logs, and sample databases.
- Verifying logging sheets, drill reports, and downhole survey data.
- Enforcing Ma’aden’s QA/QC procedures in sampling and logging.
- Overseeing geological logging and structural measurements.
- Organizing and coordinating core transport, processing, and dispatch to assay labs.
Darkstone provides senior field geologists to Ma’aden across various exploration and mining projects throughout Saudi Arabia. The geologists oversee drilling operations, core handling, geological logging, sampling, and QA/QC implementation. Projects range from greenfield exploration to operational open-pit and underground mines.
