Job Summary
Prepare accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions for civil construction projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop competitive bids and project budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in civil estimation and tendering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quantity take-off.
- Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare BOQs, budgets, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
- Evaluate variation orders and additional work costs.
- Maintain estimation records and cost databases.
