Job Summary
Prepare accurate cost estimates and commercial proposals for industrial operation and maintenance (O&M) projects. Analyze technical requirements, scope of work, manpower, materials, and equipment to develop competitive and profitable bids.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP estimation, preferably in industrial O&M projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, maintenance practices, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation software.
- Good analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Review RFQs, technical specifications, and scope of work documents.
- Prepare cost estimates for manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
- Develop BOQs, pricing schedules, and commercial proposals.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, procurement, and engineering teams.
- Assess project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support tender submissions and client clarifications.
- Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.
