We’re seeking a curious, driven, and technically minded Exploration Geologist to join our team. If you’re passionate about mineral discovery, love being in the field, and want to grow your geoscience career with hands-on experience and mentorship, this is the role for you.
This is a great opportunity for an early- to mid-career geologist looking to make a real impact across a variety of exciting exploration projects.
🔍 Scope of the Role
As an Exploration Geologist, you’ll play a key role in field mapping, geological data collection, core logging, and early-stage target generation. Working closely with senior geologists and project leads, you’ll contribute to the planning and execution of exploration programs — from boots-on-the-ground reconnaissance to 3D data visualization and drill support.
🧠Core Competencies & Skills
Technical Skills:
- Solid understanding of geology, ore-forming processes, and mineral systems
- Conduct field mapping, sampling, and reconnaissance work under supervision.
- Log core and RC chips with attention to lithology, structure, alteration, and mineralization.
- Assist in drill planning and daily monitoring of drilling activities.
- Collect, compile, and interpret geological data to support drill targeting.
- Maintain field notes, sample logs, and QA/QC procedures.
- Use GIS tools (ArcPro, QGIS) to manage and visualize data
- Support the preparation of technical reports and presentations
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and operational procedures in the field
- Collaborate closely with geologists, technicians, and contractors.
- Basic understanding of geophysics and geochemistry is a plus

🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (MSc is an asset)
- 2–4 years of experience in mineral exploration.
- Experience working in remote field settings and diverse terrains
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with safety and environmental best practices
- Willingness to work in remote or rugged field locations
