We are looking for a Field Assistant to support our geology and sampling teams. The ideal candidate will assist in collecting high-quality field samples, supporting mapping activities, and handling core processing tasks.
This role requires someone who is physically fit, technically precise, and capable of working in rugged field conditions. A 4WD driver’s license and ability to follow safety standards are essential.

📋 Key Responsibilities
- Sample Collection & Field Support: Soil, grab, RC chips, and AC chips sampling.
- Assist geologists with field mapping.
- Support core drilling operations.
- Prepare and label samples (tags, plastic bags, CRMs).
- Core photography (full, half, RC, and AC).
- Draw and mark core orientation lines.
- Load/offload sample boxes and bags (core shed, sampling areas).
- Correct and label aluminum tags on core boxes.
- Maintain core box register and sample records.
- Organize sampling gear for field/core work.
- Drive 4WD vehicles in off-road conditions.
- Maintain safety standards and compliance procedures.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- High School Certificate (minimum).
- 1-3 years of experience in field exploration activities.
- Basic proficiency in field tools (GPS, maps).
- First Aid certification (preferred).
- Able to work in remote, physically demanding environments.
