Job Summary
Manage the procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for construction and industrial projects. Ensure timely delivery, cost-effective sourcing, and compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP procurement.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Review material requisitions, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Obtain and analyze quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, technical office, and site teams regarding procurement requirements.
- Ensure materials and equipment comply with project specifications and standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and cost reports.
