Job Summary
Monitor project costs, contracts, and commercial activities to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements. Support cost control, budgeting, valuations, and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial management, cost control, or quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/project management systems.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Review contract terms and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Evaluate variations, claim, and change orders.
- Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and commercial reports.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
- Assist in contract administration and dispute resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and commercial documentation.
