Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HSE experience in construction, infrastructure, mining, or industrial projects.
- Professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Strong English communication, reporting, leadership, and incident-investigation skills. Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with HSE procedures, legal requirements, and client standards.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety audits, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Advise project management and site teams on hazards, control measures, and safe work practices.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare reports with corrective/preventive actions.
- Monitor and verify compliance of subcontractors, workers, equipment, and work activities with HSE requirements.
- Prepare and maintain HSE reports, statistics, inspections, observations, and action-tracking records, and support continuous improvement.
